1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
OmniMed Global B.V.
Krom Boomssloot 5, 1011 GP Amsterdam, Netherlands
Email: info@omnimed.group
Responsible person: Winston Schultze.
2. What data we process
2.1 Server log files
When you visit our website, the web server automatically stores certain information in so‑called server log files: IP address, date and time of access, URL accessed, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. These log files are technically necessary to display the website, ensure stability and security, and to investigate misuse.
2.2 Contact form and email contact
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (for example name, company, email address, message content, budget information, and any other details you choose to share) in order to handle your enquiry and any follow‑up questions. Emails from the form are forwarded to our internal email system and are not used for unrelated marketing without your separate consent.
2.3 Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager to manage website tags and integrate tools such as Google Analytics. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles or store cookies; it only triggers other tags, which may in turn collect data.
2.4 Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to analyse how visitors use our pages. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies to collect information such as your IP address (in shortened form), device and browser information, pages visited, time spent, and interactions with our content. We have activated IP anonymisation where available so that your IP address is truncated within the EU/EEA before transfer to Google servers.
2.5 LinkedIn (incl. Insight Tag, plugins or links)
Our website may include the LinkedIn Insight Tag, LinkedIn share/follow buttons or links to our LinkedIn presence. When you visit our site, LinkedIn can use cookies and similar technologies to collect data about your visit (for example pages viewed, referrer URL, device information) and link it to your LinkedIn account if you are logged in. We use this data to measure campaigns, build anonymous website statistics and show relevant content or ads on LinkedIn.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process your personal data on the following legal bases and for these purposes:
To provide and secure our website (server logs, tag manager technical use): legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in operating a secure, functional online service.
To answer contact requests and communicate with you: performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and, where not contract‑related, our legitimate interest in effectively handling enquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
To measure and improve website usage with Google Analytics: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which we obtain via a cookie/consent banner before setting non‑essential cookies.
To analyse the effectiveness of our LinkedIn presence and tailor content or ads: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and our legitimate interest in effective B2B communication and marketing (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future, for example via the cookie/banner settings or your browser settings.
4. Recipients and data transfers
For the purposes listed above, we share data with the following categories of recipients:
IT and hosting providers who supply infrastructure and support services for our website.
Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC as providers of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company and LinkedIn Corporation as providers of LinkedIn tools and analytics.
In some cases, personal data may be transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA (for example to the USA) where these providers are based. Where such transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU‑U.S. Data Privacy Framework (if applicable) or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by statutory retention periods.
Server log files are typically retained for security and troubleshooting purposes for up to 30–90 days, after which they are deleted or anonymised unless longer storage is required due to specific incidents.
Contact enquiries are kept for as long as needed to process your request and for any follow‑up, and may be retained longer where required by commercial and tax law.
Google Analytics and LinkedIn analytics data are stored according to the retention periods configured in those tools (for example 14–26 months) and then aggregated or deleted.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential website functions and, with your consent, for analytics and marketing (Google Analytics, LinkedIn). Essential cookies are needed to run the site and cannot be disabled, while non‑essential cookies are only set after you have given consent via the cookie/consent banner.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time via the banner or your browser settings, and you can delete stored cookies through your browser.
7. Your rights under GDPR
As a data subject you have the following rights, subject to the conditions of the GDPR:
Right of access – to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is processed and to receive a copy.
Right to rectification – to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to erasure – to request deletion of your data where legal grounds apply (“right to be forgotten”).
Right to restriction of processing – to have processing limited in certain circumstances.
Right to data portability – to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine‑readable format and transmit it to another controller where technically feasible.
Right to object – to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on our legitimate interests, including profiling, and to object to direct marketing.
Right to withdraw consent – where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.
